Family Session Checklist

01

styling and outfits

Make sure to plan your outfits a week or more in advance, you don’t want to wait until the last

day. You will receive a more detailed what to wear guide from me in the coming weeks, that I

hope will help you pick and coordinate your family’s outfits with more ease.

02

rest

Get plenty of rest a night before your session so you will look rested in your photos. The same

goes for your kids - if they are still on the nap schedule, try to plan one before the session.

03

food and water

Try to avoid any foods the day before your shoot that make you feel bloated or introducing new

foods. Don’t show up on an empty stomach, especially when you are bringing little ones. Full

bellies equal happy bellies and happy kids. When you bring a snack to our session, opt for the

least messy ones such as goldfish. Avoid colored lollipops. Bring water, especially for the cake

smashes, babies can get thirsty after enjoy their cake.

04

get your family on board

Talk to your husband and children about the session to get them prepared and on board. During

the session let your kids be kids. Let them play or get dirty (for outdoor session) and don’t forget

to join the fun and love on them too!

05

arriving at your session

Don’t be late or too early. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your session start time. If you

want to wait and change the kids when you arrive, plan to come fifteen minutes earlier.

I hope you found this helpful. If you have already booked your session with me and have more
